Siksa Neraka #00
This is a fan art cover inspired by a comic book about the punishments of Hell that I bought when I was in elementary school, around 2005.
As a kid, I loved reading this comic, even though it terrified me. The illustrations were disturbing, painful to look at, and unforgettable. I remember feeling scared and reflecting on my actions every time I read it.
Back then, I was already passionate about drawing. I often imagined recreating the illustrations from the book, or at least drawing something similar. But I knew my skills weren't anywhere near the level of the artists who created them, so I eventually gave up on the idea.
Now, at the age of 30, I finally have the skills to bring that childhood dream to life.
This artwork is the result: a fan art cover that allows me to reconnect with a powerful memory from my childhood through my own work.
And this is only the beginning.
What you're seeing here is just the cover. After this, I plan to create dozens of illustrations inspired by and expanded from the stories in that comic.
Stay tuned.
By the way, which punishment in Hell would you fear the most?
